ABOUT TOWER

Tower Investments, LLC is a real estate investment company, owned by the Marks family, headquartered in Woodland, CA. (Sacramento).  Tower was founded 36 years ago and now consists of three generations in business. Tower owns a diverse portfolio of 100 real estate properties, some of the most exceptional and prominent real estate in the country - located in 20 states, including shopping centers, retail stores, industrial buildings, office buildings, land developments, and cattle ranches.  Tower invests its own capital and does not solicit investors. 

Steve and Anne Marks founded Tower Investments in 1989,  having had their earlier beginning in the cattle business - but refusing to go broke,  they were able to transfer their business knowledge to real estate.  With an office in their basement, Tower was born.  Soon thereafter, four of the Marks children graduated from college and joined Tower Investments. Recent additions of five nephews and grandsons have now joined Tower.  Today, the Marks family is blessed to have two thirds of its in-house operating and management teams employed by Tower for over 20 years.

The Marks family values have been carried over from the cattle business - where honesty, hard work, and a man’s word is his bond.  The Tower team believes that its successes are built on its many relationships. A glimpse into a day at Tower Investments would likely see the Tower team looking for new investments and oversight of its ownership portfolio.   The Tower team is responsive, nimble, and it seeks opportunities where it can add value, sometimes in unusual settings.  Some unique examples of Tower’s ownership have included:  The Nut Tree Plaza (with 68 stores) in Vacaville, CA, The Kodak Campus in NY, restaurants and live music entertainment venues in Nashville, an Island in the Mississippi River, the 8,000 acre Stonyford Ranch,  2,000 single family residential lots in Southern CA, four special event centers in 3 states, and a variety of commercial and industrial buildings in 20 states.
